I work too much and play too little but I love cooking and apparently still haven't got the eating bit right. Exercise was not really my forte but I love riding my bike when the weather is right and I am in the right frame of mind. The dark mornings and evenings of winter used to depress me until I discover (and got addicted) to cross country skiing. Now I want more than ever to get fitter every year. Exercise was not really my forte but I love riding my bike when the weather is right and I am in the right frame of mind. The dark mornings and evenings of winter used to depress me until I discover (and got addicted) to cross country skiing. Now I want more than ever to get fitter every year. I still thrive on long warm sunny days and try to feel better and reduce my stress levels by using my exercise bike at various times throughout the day.
To feel better about myself and feel more fit and active by losing the 10-12 pounds that have crept back on during the last couple of years
Record everything that I eat, work on increasing my fitness and get back to recording weight every week, no matter what !
I was born and raised in England, lived in South Africa from 1975 until Feb 1999, lived in Canada most of the year 1999 and moved to America at the beginning of 2000. I am now a proud American citizen and am happily married and living in MT

Hi, your page caught my eye and I see you are now a fellow Montanan. We are in the SW of the state, where are you located? Our snow is currently restricted to the higher levels, none at our place this week.
I see you are challenged to get quality sleep as well. Hope to get to chat online.
Hi Rosaland, sorry I haven't been around much for awhile. I promise to do better. I have missed you and your encouragement. I have a really nice caregiver and she likes to get out of the house. I feel really secure with her. I know she's not going to let me fall. She hates to shop, but she humors me. Lol !! I have been on Facebook a lot and have a really great group of friends. I see you're packing to move. I feel for you. Moving is not much fun. Hope it is a place where you want to be. Got to go for now and I promise not to be a stranger. .
Ha Ha!! Sorry! Right after I posted that the sun came out and we had a gorgeous afternoon! Really, most of the time you will love the weather here. I remember how downsizing was so I can sympathize with you! So, you are not bringing any of your furniture with you?
We keep going through our things in the storage building and finding more and more things that we won't keep. Don't leave all your packing till the last minute! Enjoy the massage, my friend, and keep in touch!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Maintenance is a struggle for me, but I remain determined. I never want to go back to being MORBID anything! I feel badly you are still working so many hours. That has to be so difficult. Since I've retired (2 years now), I have enjoyed having lots of free time, although sometimes I wish I didn't have quite so much, as it can leads to that dreadful snacking that of course leads to weight gain. Is there any break in sight for you on all those work hours? I hope you can taper down to 40, at the very least. I need to start downsizing as well, but I put it off, hate the thought of having to move from here, and so I procrastinate.
So glad you got a good night's sleep and gave your stomach a rest! We are the ones who know our bodies the best! Oh, I have to tell you it is 60 degrees down here today and we are headed for 66 tomorrow! Just gorgeous weather right now! Take care, and hope you continue to feel better!
