In 1999 I entered into marriage union with my current husband at the weight of 142 lbs. I have been active all my life through highschool and college. During the course of our marriage I woke up to my heaviest weight of 208lbs. Through the use of Leslie Sansone DVD's, and a change in eating habits, I found the pounds coming off. This led to getting back to an active lifestyle of walking, running, strength training, and finding ways to put my body in motion at all times.
I want to encourage, inspire and motivate people to have fun and exercise and eat right for wellness.
I am currently a Leslie Sansone Certified Walk Leader leading Walk Live Classes in Tacoma Washington and Puyallup Washington. It was the benefits of my weightloss while focusing on wellness that inspired me to share with others - and a little support and encouragement from my big sister :)
Walking is the foundation for maintaining my current weight loss, and Leslie Sansone DVD's have been a part of my exercise program for years. I have lost 68lbs, and walking is a good stress releaser and keeps my blood pressure within normal range.
As a Leslie Sansone Certified Walk Leader I am currently leading Walk Live Classes in Tacoma, Puyallup/Spanaway Washington.
Walking is the most simple, natural form of exercise. Walk Live classes make this form of exercise even better because it is a calorie torching, posture perfecting, stress reducing walking workout with strength training and pilates!
Walking doesn't get any better then this for wellness and weightloss!
Currently at goal weight. My desire is to maintain wellness and healthy weight.
Eating Healthy, maintaining an exercise regiment of 30-45 minutes daily, including leading three 2.0 mile Walk Live Classes, and two 3.0 mile Walk Live Classes a week. This activity, plus prep times usually keeps me on task.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, jazz concerts, sporting events, theater productions, and any activity that puts the body in motion.

Wow, I'm so inspired by your story! After back surgery 2 years ago, my doctor told me walking was the best type of exercise to recovery, so between that and swimming I am now healthier than ever! HOWEVER, I am a hard-head and often feel that walking is just not enough. I love all types of fitness, especially dancing and strength training, but your story has proven to me that walking CAN be enough!
