Walking the Talk

I am a Mom of 4 - #1 is my 13 year old daughter, #2 is my 11 year old son, Kaity is #3, our angel who would have been 9 this year, and #4 is our rough and tumble rainbow at 4 years old. I talk to my kids about living healthy all the time, and I think it's about time that I start walking the talk. I gained weight with having the kids, but after losing our daughter I gained 25 pounds in a year (on top of the baby weight, which pushed me to about 40 pounds overweight) - after having our 4th child I lost 38 pounds, but after a year of losing I started regaining and ended up back at my heaviest weight within 2 years :( It's time to start again, and this time, stick with the lifestyle change!

Personal Information:
I'm from Winnipeg, MB but have transplanted to Southern Ontario, about an hour west of Toronto.

I am a stay-at-home Mom, as I just quit my job. I plan to stay home for a year and then look at going back to work or school when my youngest starts school next September.

I have a wonderful and supportive husband, 3 beautiful children and an angel watching over us from Heaven

It has been a while! I am remotivated. Thank God! I joined Planet Fitness and went once a week. Now I am excited to go more often. I really like it, and there is no pressure, but I feel better already. Eating better makes me fell better too. I cannot wait to have great salad with my favorites today and to pick strawberries tomorrow. I am healthiest in the summer. emoticon

How are you doing? I hope your stress management techniques are working. It's good that you're focusing on that. Stress is a negative factor for all our other goals, so you'd better control this first.
