One Grandma's walk across the country

I enjoy living and intend to do so for a long time. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy doing things with them. I want to continue to be active with my children and grandchildren. I don't want to be the old fat granny who can't do things because I don't feel well enough.

I want to fit in seats, theater and airplane and I want to be able to run up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial one more time at least.

I have walked across the nation twice that I have ...

My goal is to have a BMI below 25.


My Program:
Workout three times a week.

Continue walking daily

Stay within my calorie range. Make certain that I eat lots of fruits and veggies.

Get better control of the stuff I own and not let it own me.

Other Information:
I love books, sewing, quilting, spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Looking for help...(."friend requested" you) JUST started tonight-about an hr ago...already flustered!!! I was trying to set up my page...put in the wt I was a few wks ago...then played around on this Sparks site and went in to weigh...I weigh more then I put in...can't figure out how to change it, to the CORRECT weight-can't seem to get help from staff?!?! How do I change my starting wt, to the proper wt; so my wt loss record will be correct? My flustration level is high right now...wanna give up before I even get started!! I went around site-looking @ groups, saved a couple recipes, found "my diet"-I am NOT interested in having to shop from someone elses idea of what I should eat-rather track the calories-IS THAT AN OPTION? (can't find it -IF it is!) Gggrrr!! So frustrating !!! emoticon
