One Grandma's walk across the country

I enjoy living and intend to do so for a long time. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy doing things with them. I want to continue to be active with my children and grandchildren. I don't want to be the old fat granny who can't do things because I don't feel well enough.

I want to fit in seats, theater and airplane and I want to be able to run up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial one more time at least.

I have walked across the nation twice that I have ...

I have walked across the nation twice that I have recorded and intend to do it again this year.

Thanks for reading and commenting on my 2013 blog, WG. I appreciate every visit. I really enjoy putting the quilts together although they often turn out very different than what I had in mind when I started out; somehow they seem to develop opinions of their own emoticon

I think I'm going to try a combination of machine and hand quilting for the next one. I do feel a bit intimidated, though, because it will be for our bed ... yet another king.

And Red ... well, he's a great guy. I feel very blessed that we found each other.

Your friends are right ... retirement is very busy. Anybody who complains about being bored just isn't doing it right emoticon emoticon

Thanks again for visiting my blog. Wishing you and yours all the best in 2014.
