One Grandma's walk across the country

I enjoy living and intend to do so for a long time. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy doing things with them. I want to continue to be active with my children and grandchildren. I don't want to be the old fat granny who can't do things because I don't feel well enough.

I want to fit in seats, theater and airplane and I want to be able to run up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial one more time at least.

I have walked across the nation twice that I have ...

I have walked across the nation twice that I have recorded and intend to do it again this year.

Thank you for the sewing machine goodie! I am really thinking that machine will find its way into the RV. I guess it is a good thing that I have two machines!

Thanks for the lovely comments on my quilts, WG. It takes a long time to hand quilt but I'm always glad I put in the effort. Re the Celtic Knot - I couldn't find a template of one that I liked so I had Mr. TB design one. There are definitely benefits to having an artist in the family emoticon

Learning the quilt-as-you-go, reversible technique was fun, too. And it was so nice to do something completely different. Right now Shifting Seasons is on my bed, autumn side up ... mostly, I think, because the colours are so bright and the weather has been so dark and dreary.
