Lost 17 lbs in 2008 and kept it off 2009 has so far been a washout, played with the same 6lbs all year and now am at the same weight as when I started the year. Only 6 weeks of this year left, so trying to at least show a loss by then. 2010 is going to be the year I start again in earnest and plan all my meals and exercise. Was named a Spark Motivator, thanks to all who voted for me, I just try to return the help that you give me. I am walking every day, waiting for PT on my torn rotator cuff. So . . . "A 1-gallon jug of water weighs 8.34 pounds. I filled 2 empty milk jugs with water and walked down and then back up my front steps. Huffin & Puffin! Then I put them down and walked down and back up the steps again. WOW! It was the incentive I needed this week. Try it and see for yourself." I AM making progress..yippee
