Starting again in 2010

Lost 17 lbs in 2008 and kept it off

2009 has so far been a washout,played with the same 6lbs all year and now am at the same weight as when I started the year. Only 6 weeks of this year left, so trying to at least show a loss by then.
2010 is going to be the year I start again in earnest and plan all my meals and exercise.

Was named a Spark Motivator, thanks to all who voted for me, I just try to return the help that you give me.

My 3 wishes for 2010 are :

Lose 10% body weight =25lbs

Better my time in 5k walk=under 58 minutes

Encourage spark friends to do well and keep tracking

Thanks for all your help and support to me in 2009, and please keep helping in 2010

She went on to say that even though she had lost 16 pounds, she was still feeling discouraged. So . . .
"A 1-gallon jug of water weighs 8.34 pounds. I filled 2 empty milk jugs with water and walked down and then back up my front steps. Huffin & Puffin!
Then I put them down and walked down and back up the steps again. WOW!
It was the incentive I needed this week. Try it and see for yourself."
