I've given up trying to "lose weight." Now, I'm just trying to stay healthy and happy at the same time. I don't track my food, but I try not to eat crap. I do track my exercise and try to keep it up.

I've lost almost 40lbs since I started on SparkPeople, but most of that loss was done away from here. I came back to help me keep track of how much exercise I am (or am not) doing. So I can feel proud of myself when I feel like it's not working.

Did you quit? I hope not, but if you did, PLEASE COME BACK!
It is amazing the number of people who start and then give up. It really makes me sad.
I've lost 33# and signed in every single day for the past 215 days, because I'm determined to get to my goal. There is so much help and support here.
If you are an emotional eater, read "Shrink Yourself" by ROGER GOULD, M.D. as it is about emotional eating.

Hi Walflouer! I saw that you needed support. It sounds like you got on top of the weight gain early enough to take control of it. We are all here to support you along the way. You can do it!

Hey WALFLOUER! I just stumbled across you in the "What good thing have you done today" messageboard, and I have to say, you seem to be in around the same boat as me. I'm adding you to my Friends, if you don't mind. Keep your spirits up, and keep up the good work!
