Hey there! Thank you for commenting on my blog. I am always blown away to discover that someone reads something I've written on here, ha ha. Sooo you're a fellow tall girl, eh? I'm 5'10" and I love it. I wish I was 5'11"! :) I am finally at a "normal" BMI myself, but while that is great, I am striving to lose more weight and get to that magic number that I have in my head.
I LOVE that you can do man-pushups! I can still only manage half-a**ed girl ones, but hey, there was a time when I couldn't even do those! It's all about improving upon what you can do, and that is what I'm doing. ;)
Have a gorgeous weekend! I wish you focus, peace and strength in your journey. Anna

Nike ~ "If you went running when you first started thinking about it, you'd be back by now."
"Others aren't staring at you. They're thinking how they should be running, too."
"Someone who is busier than you is running right now."
"The road to hell is paved with couches."
"It's easier to sleep than run. That's why sleeping isn't an Olympic sport."
Hey Valerie! I enjoyed reading your response on the message boards about the first workout you ever did. I also have Firm Vols. 1 & 2. I almost never do them now, but I'm not about to part with 'em. Too many fun memories. Insanity sure is a step (or a thousand!) above that, isn't it?
You're lucky to have a mom who shares your interest. Unfortunately, there is no one in my personal life who understands or appreciates my love of fitness workouts. They have no idea how challenging they can be. I'd love to lock them in a room with a step and any of Cathe's IMAXes and then see what they think.
Have you ever heard of videofitness.com? It's a terrific community of people just like us. They have an active forum and lots of great discussions about the latest exercise dvds.
Good luck with Insanity. I haven't had the courage yet to attempt that series. 2596 days ago
