Exercise 5-6 Days every week.

Eat a healthy balanced 1200 - 1555 calories daily. Holidays, family events, vacation option: max daily calories=weight x 15 calories .
No evening snacking as much as possible

Personal Information:
Happily married with 3 terrific grown boys, 3 lovely grandkids, and a dog. Took an early retirement in 2009, which presented many new lifestyle changes. Have a part-time bookkeeping business going; watch granddaughter 2 days weekly.

Other Information:
Enjoy time with family and friends, reading, gardening, cooking & mini vacations.

I do takes naps when Riley does, funny I use to do that with my kids, LOL!! I feel like a mommy again.
Glad you liked my Lilacs, pretty soon Spring will come for you and you will be out there with me. Turned hot here, too quick. Need to remember more water.

Thank you for your comment on my Page. As for the 2# weight loss, I'm on prednisone, so I'm all over the map. emoticon We'll see how I'm really doing, by the end. I' hoping to have lost at least my goal.

Hi Vicki! I feel bad that I haven't been around, keep meaning to write. I think I'll do a blog after I write you.

After announcing two months ago that I was going to start tracking again, I didn't. Which means I don't get on Spark hardly at all, But my weight keeps sitting right on 160, even when I have a couple of bad days. It's nice not to be gaining, but I'm still wanting to lose another 10 pounds.

Exercise - not great. I do my aerobics class, but it's only two days a week and I haven't consistently done that third day at home with dvd that I was planning, and I was honestly scared to go to the gym during the flu epidemic, it just seems like a big, moist germ factory in there. At least Spring is finally coming so we can walk outside again!

The newspaper job though is really exciting. It's a brabd new paper on a shoestring budget in a town of 20,000, so right now the staff is just the editor/writer (who's the retired principal of our big Catholic high school, plus current mayor of the next town up the interstate) and his secretary/proofreader and me, plus some sportswriter stringers. So my section of the paper is everything, plus taking photos! But I'm just excited to have found a job that's creative.

I'm glad you got away from your nasty winter and got to Miami. I love Cuban food. I have one recipe I make at home, it's a rice and beans dish with sauteed red peppers, cumin, thyme, garlic, bay leaf and a big dash of apple cider vinegar.
