My name is Brindy. I am 27 years old and I want to lose weight so I have a better chance of getting pregnant. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome in August of 2011. Since then my husband and I have had 6 failed artificial insemination attempts. I had surgery last month to drill holes in my ovaries to hopefully help me ovulate on my own. So I really think losing weight will help me even more. 2013 has to be a great year for me!

Personal Information:
I lived in Altamont, IL for most of my life. I moved around a lot when I was in school living in Odin, Carbondale and New Berlin, IL and also St. Louis, MO. Now I live in Springfield, IL. I am married and we have 3 cats and a dog.

Other Information:
I grew up playing sports. I was a gymnast from the ages of 2 to 14. I played basketball and softball since I was 7 until high school. I played volleyball in junior high, high school and college. I also played intramural sports in college and grad school. I love sports and it kept the weight off over the years. I have never been skinny but I never felt disgusting. Now that I am in a new area and don't know people to play sports with I am having to find other ways to lose weight. I want to feel as good as I did in high school but be skinnier.

Wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy New Year! I'm finally back (it's been soooo long!) and just wanted to let you know that I've missed you and that I look forward to reconnecting. Hope you are doing well and that 2014 will be your best year yet!

I just wanted to say hi and tell you that even though I've been away from SP for the past several months (bogged down with work and stress) I am looking forward to ending the mighty-year-of-challenges that has plagued me this past year and start fresh soon... I may be still a bit scarce around here for the next little while but I did want to let you know that I've been thinking of you and hope you are doing well in life, in happiness, and in your journey.

Thank you for reading my blog "you will know when you get there". I definitely wish I did not have to lose my daughter to learn those lessons but everything about those experiences have made me better and my faith is the only thing that got me through. GOD promised me three days after Alicia passed that if I stayed faithful and got through everything he was going to give me, that he would show me more happiness than I can imagine. Let's just say GOD is faithful to his faithful. I was finally able to see how it related to my weight-loss and now I am able to accept the blessing of losing 50 lbs and concentrate on changing my perspective about this journey. I'm glad you stopped to read and thank you for the support.
