I have learned that low carb works best for me....that and getting my arse moving!!!

Started the "Insanity" program 11/24/12

*Walk my pup 3 times a day
*Get up EARLY to workout
*Drink PLENTY of water
*Stick to mainly a low carb diet. :)

emoticon Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining!
I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!

Howdy and welcome back to active Sparking! If I were to isolate one key factor in my 1 year and 4 month time on SP as contributing to my success so far it is consistency. I log in every day, track almost daily, devote myself to daily exercise no matter what and read. I took the "Never Quit Pledge" more than once. That helps with the all-or-none problem of "giving up" when times get tough. And I have gotten through a couple rough patches haning on to the consistency of involvement. Never Quit! Always come back "on line". Track, track and then track. I also blog as often as the ideas bubble up, stay in touch with supportive Spark Friends, try out new exercises, recipes and "tweaking" suggestions - generally try to keep my program fresh. It is not easy but it is sure WORTH IT. I want to never have to "start over" again! Great to "meet" you!
