I have a wonderful husband who I have been with for 36 years and hope more. I have two children a Son 35 and Daughter 32. Both kids are in the Army - I am very proud of my kids

Other Information:
I love to sing and I love to Sew, Quilt, Play cards, swim, camp, fish, hunt, bake cakes for people, (wedding, birthday any cake) ride my motorcycle, - if there is something I have not done - you name it I would like to try it - if I haven't done it yet.

Vicki, thanks for reading the blog -- it can be very frustrating to keep losing that same 2 to 5 pounds. Yet that is exactly what we are doing when we continually let the temptations get to us. And what a waste of time it all boils down to. Next week, or next month, what difference will it make if we skipped eating a piece of birthday cake? Of course let's say we DID eat it, next week it might still be with us. lol

I wasn't picking on you in the blog, only said that because it fits so many of us on here. I feel that way myself often, especially if any other thing happens that causes me stress.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Got all the way up here and was unloading stuff when DH realized he had not brought his needles (he has diabetes) -- so he had to turn around and go back down. He was so exhausted once he got there he needed a nap. I told him to just spend the night, but he said he was going to load more stuff and come back up. Who knows what he will decide to bring. Men just do not think the same as women.

Are you feeling like the "lazy days of summer" have arrived??? This week, let's SPARK our fitness! If it is too hot outside to exercise, get moving with an exercise DVD or how about the emoticon treadmill emoticon or stationary bike emoticon Have you thought of going to the gym for some healthy sweat time with zumba or kickboxing? emoticon Or perhaps, cool off with swim in the pool emoticon Always stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water!!! emoticon Let's make this week a HEALTHY one and enjoy those summer days getting fit!

Here's a tip to keep you on your Spark plan:

Enjoy and fill up with seasonal produce! Visit your local farmer's market or take advantage of the bountiful crops from your garden. Add produce to everything you eat, including topping pizza with veggies, adding more vegetables to soups or scrambling eggs with veggies. This enables you to fill up on high-fiber, low-calorie foods rather than unhealthy options!
