Personal Information:
I have a wonderful husband who I have been with for 40 years and hope more. I have two children a Son (Samuel) 38 and Daughter in Law Hotaru and Step Grandson Michael 8 and Grand Daughter Nicole 4 months old - and a Daughter (Leah) 35 & Son in Law (Marlon) 35 & Grandson (Xander) 3 and one on the way in DEC. All the kids are in the Army - I am very proud of my kids - on July 27, 2009, and Feb 10, 2011 - I was honored to be selected as a Spark people Motivator!


Other Information:
I love to sing and I love to Sew, Quilt, Play cards, swim, camp, fish, hunt, bake cakes for people, (wedding, birthday any cake) ride my motorcycle, - if there is something I have not done - you name it I would like to try it - if I haven't done it yet.

    One valuable secret to weight loss is to eliminate hunger. If you want to avoid intense food cravings, don’t skip meals. Skipping a meal may seem like it’s a good thing so that you will eat less, but the truth is, you will probably end up eating more than you usually do. The key is to eat many small meals, like six, instead of three big meals. Consuming regular meals of complex carbs with protein, and a small amount of healthy fat will keep your blood sugar stable and you will feel satisfied. I know I run into problems when I don’t eat for a while and I am starving! That is when I make bad food choices and overeat. Keep hunger at bay by eating small healthy amounts every two to four hours. Concentrate on food with staying-power. Don’t let hunger set in - - eliminate it!
