go outside, that's where its all at.

I have been on and off this site for a few years now. I'm just not very consistent and lack discipline. I need structure in my workout routine, I need strict guidelines on my diet too. Otherwise, I'll just say... Its ok this one time, which turns into every time, etc.

Well I ran a 5k once and I would love to be able to do that again. One thing missing is that workout partner to keep you going when you feel like giving up. However I am doing what I can!

I am looking to lose about 15 lbs, but mainly its the endurance that I want to get back. To not get tired walking up a flight of stairs and to have energy after a long day at work.

So here I am, this time I know what it takes, and its all on me.

I'm starting my career finally after what seems like a lifetime of school. Its going to be very stressful getting adjusted to my new role and meeting all of my requirements. So while I'm living up the rest of my summer, why not get some healthy routines in place to help me stay on track for this school year.

Well I am on board for the spark people bootcamp. I will be running 3 times a week, some other cardio twice a week and various strength training during the week.

Thank you for the comment! It has taken me awhile to build up my races. I find the more I complete the more I want to run! :) I'm excited to watch your progress back into 5k's.

I had a not so great weekend food-wise, too. Once it started, it was hard to stop. But today is a fresh start - glad you're already putting it behind you!

Thanks for your comment on my SparkPage! I noticed you're a graduate student too. I understand what you're going through. Last semester I gained 25 lbs.... In ONE semester! Isn't that insane? Anyway, if you ever need someone to talk to about the stress and pain of graduate school, let me know. I've definitely been through it. I'm right at the end actually! I defend my dissertation tomorrow!!
