30 Years in the Making

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and minister. I do a lot for other people, but I must make some time for me. I have to take care of myself so that I can be there for all the other people in my life. Here's to taking it one day at a time and losing weight!

I want to complete 6 fitness events in 6 months:
October 2012- le Tour de Femme 30 mile bike ride
November 2012- 5K Color Run (no walking, under 40 minutes)
December 2012- Complete an 8K
January 2013- Hot Chocolate 10K
February 2013- Myrtle Beach Half Marathon
March 2013- Shamrock Shuffle 5K (make a personal best)

My Program:
My hubby and I are working together to achieve our goals. We keep each other in check and motivated.

This is a lifestyle, not a diet. I need to work at being healthy everyday.

July 5 through Labor Day 2012- Run/Walk at lest 1 mile everyday, also using C25K training- FINISHED! Ran 49 out of 61 days with a total of 85.17 miles loged!

Personal Information:
I love to knit, sew, craft, bake, garden and enjoy the outdoors.

I love biking and I'm a novice runner.

I fell off too, but today I'm feeling and doing much better. Forced myself to go run and now I want to eat healthy the rest of the day. We can do this! emoticon
