Struggling with Fibromyalgia - currently off work!

Hi, I am a single mother of two teenagers that is struggling with fibromyalgia. I am at risk of losing my teaching job at an area Community College and just need to talk to others that know what I am going through. If you have info about disability, I would like to know. On top of that, the house that we rented in a rush to get out of a bad situation with my X-husband, I took the first available that i could find and have been pretty sick with fibro but also with respiratory problems too. ...
Hi, I am a single mother of two teenagers that is struggling with fibromyalgia. I am at risk of losing my teaching job at an area Community College and just need to talk to others that know what I am going through. If you have info about disability, I would like to know. On top of that, the house that we rented in a rush to get out of a bad situation with my X-husband, I took the first available that i could find and have been pretty sick with fibro but also with respiratory problems too.
I used to be so active and vibrant and want to be that person again while my kids can still benefit from it. My youngest has no memories of me playing with him because of this disease. I am tired of it stealing my days of my life.
I am also working a 12 step program to help better my spiritual and emotional life. I feel like I am a lot of work right now for any one. I just need some one else that has gone through what I am going through to understand me.

My Goals:
* I want to lose 30 pounds
* I want to be able to work out whether stretching and weights or the Bender Ball or walking.
*I want to feel better so I can do the things that I want to do!

My Program:
* I have been working really hard the last two weeks to eat better. I have been cutting back on processed foods and sugar (desserts).
*Last week I actually took a walk and did the Bender Ball work out.
*I think that activity is the key to me feeling better but am in a catch 22 of not feeling well enough to exercise and not exercising causes me to not feel well.
*I pray lots and try to talk to Christian people. I want to be surrounded by positive people.
