Hi, I've been on SparkPeople for a few years off and on. I want to be healthy but I get busy, unmotivated and lose track of my goals. I am back again and am determined to stay focused this time. I am thankful for all of the motivation I find here in other SP members. Reading the Motivation Boards helps tremendously. I know we can all do this together!
Now that I'm 34, I want to be as healthy as possible. It's time to take control of my life and make this journey the best it can be!
I have a hard time staying on track because I don't have a goal weight. Please don't hate me. I thank my lucky stars every day that I have good metabolism. But I want to be a fitness fanatic. I want the physical and mental energy that exercise gives you. I want to be sculpted, toned, cut. I want to look like I work on my body like it's my occupation. I'd actually like to get certified as a personal trainer one day because I've been told I really inspire and motivate people (when I'm ON TRACK, that is).
MY PROGRESS SO FAR:
This year has been the best yet for fitness. But I have a long way to go. I found out I love Zumba classes. Any other Zumba lovers out there?
I then discovered the Couch to 5K running program this year, found out I love running (a huge surprise to me), and I graduated. I ran in my first 5K on June 28 and it was an amazing experience. I want to keep running and do more 5K's and work up to a 10K.
I also discovered the 100 Pushups program (ask me for info). I have just begun that and can't wait to graduate.
I would love to find a workout buddy (or even a few) here. I need someone who has the same goals and a similar situation to mine. Ideally, I would like to find someone who I can keep in contact with via email and text messaging. We should hold each other accountable and check in daily with each other. Please help! :)

1. Tone up and sculpt
2. Work out on a regular basis 30 minutes 4-5 times/week
3. Eat healthier (cut down processed foods, sugar, and alcohol)
4. Increase my stamina and physical endurance
5. Have more energy and sleep better
6. Manage stress with exercise
7. Doing #1-6 to get as much out of life as I can
I TRY to get to the gym 4-5 days a week (I've been missing too many workouts). Running, pushups, Zumba, strength training. It really does get easier with practice! :)
