Health is my #1 priority from this moment forward.

I have been overweight since I was 6 years old, and have only been able to lose weight once. In 2009 I lost 60 pounds and was at my healthiest. Unfortunately then I stopped the healthy habits, had a very stressful time in my life, and gained all the weight back and then some.

Now I am working every day to make small changes and push my limits. I have lost 25 pounds in the last 3 months and want to continue that ...

I have been overweight since I was 6 years old, and have only been able to lose weight once. In 2009 I lost 60 pounds and was at my healthiest. Unfortunately then I stopped the healthy habits, had a very stressful time in my life, and gained all the weight back and then some.

Now I am working every day to make small changes and push my limits. I have lost 25 pounds in the last 3 months and want to continue that healthy, steady trend until I reach my best weight of 225.

My tools for Health are:
- Managing emotional eating by WRITING whenever I "feel" like eating
- EXERCISE 3-4 days per week for 20+ minutes each
- Being MINDFUL by eating slowly and being aware of portion, choosing a smaller serving
- Balancing NUTRITION by eliminating the worst foods: soda, candy, pizza, fried food, alcohol; and adding healthy alternatives
- Experimenting with new foods and learning to COOK AT HOME
