Photo nightmare

Yesterday my nephew was preparing for his school formal and I wanted to take a photo with him. I had imagined taking beautiful photos with him to send to my family but after getting the camera back from him, I checked the photos and I was so disappointed and disgusted at how I look, how much weight I had put on and just how sick I appeared. Really sad by it, I removed the photos with me in it and hid them on my computer. I didn't want to delete it as a reminder of where I never want to be ...

Really sad by it, I removed the photos with me in it and hid them on my computer. I didn't want to delete it as a reminder of where I never want to be again. One day I will be confident enough to share that photo with you. Until then, it is going to take some hard work especially with my diet & lots of focus. I have never wanted to lose weight, become healthier and fit as much as I do now.

My Goals:
* Begin the Low-carb diet 28/7/14
* Focus more on Strength training
* To lose at least 10kgs by 28/8/2014.
* Gain tight blood sugar control with diet and exercise. I want to remove or reduce my meds as well. Fasting glucose goal: 5.6 mmol/l or under
* Continue to achieve good HbA1c results. Last blood test was 5.4 (36)

My Program:
* Low carb diet
* Drink lots of water
* P90X workout program
* Weigh in once p/wk (Sunday) & measurements once p/month.
* Review goals & targets once per month due to weight loss/gain.
