Villergirl's Revamping Rendevous

I've tried once and time and again to lose weight and be fit and healthy. Ive done the atkins thing and it worked for me.. 60 pounds gone.. then after 3 years it creeped slowly back on. This time I'm going to try the life style change and hopefully it will be gone forever!

I've tried once and time and again to lose weight and be fit and healthy. Ive done the atkins thing and it worked for me.. 60 pounds gone.. then after 3 years it creeped slowly back on. This time I'm going to try the life style change and hopefully it will be gone forever!

Over the next year I hope to change my life. Get pleanty of sleep, Give up unhealty habits, exercise daily and get rid of any unwanted weight. This has been a lifelong struggle and even if im not busting out of my pants its time for a change!

When I am not working out there I do my own exercises at home using a plan loosely based on the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels. I call it " the Nadine Shred" I lift weights, use a kettlebell, and suffer through tons of squats! I also do 3 ballet moves, some yoga and a routine I like to call " Britney Abs". I mix it up to stay interested. Its been working for the last year.

I have started using the power of positive thinking.
I will be thin
I will fit in my old jeans
I will wear short shorts
I will be healthy

Thanks for the blog comment! :) We most definitely can do this! Since I don't have a scale at school I'm going to judge my progress by how my clothes fit! Good luck reaching your goals! If you need anything don't hesitate to ask!!

I just read the "Kate Upton" article, it is disturbing to me. I have a 7yo daughter, I can't even imagine what she will have to go through. Honestly, I sort of feel frighten for my 9yo son too.

Hey new Sparkfriend!

Thank you SO much for the comment on my blog! I have been pretty solid with water, lunches, and day time snacks. I bring breakfast to work. I fall apart at night and on the weekends when I'm burnt out -ugh! But I never really "premake" dinners which could be really helpful, so thanks for the idea!

I keep reminding myself that this is a JOURNEY, a long one that doesn't have an end, so there will be ups and downs - I just have to stay on the path!

Hope you are having a great week!

I couldn't believe the lake got as warm as it did so quickly, but I guess that's because our winter was a joke this year. I think it snowed MAYBE 2 times all winter. It was like 60 degrees most of the time, so now the lake not only has "warm" spots, but there are actual HOT spots in the lake! Crazy! Enjoy your snow! ;)
