Hi, my name is Trisha. I just moved to Sunny Central Oregon, from Klamath Falls. It is a very nice change.

I am currently attending college online and have my associates degree in accounting. I will also be pursuing a career in my new field so I am trying to lose some weight so that I can look more professional when I start my new career.

I never had a problem with my weight, I have had three kids and after each one I easily got back down to my previous weight of 125 in no time. As I started nearing my 30's I started packing on the pounds, I went through a divorce, a job change, and my son becoming very ill, and have just had a lot of stress in my life for the last 7 years. I was 200 Pounds when I started this journey, with at least 65 pounds to lose. Look at me now....Just a measley 6 pounds away from my goal weight.

I DID IT!! No pills, no fancy diets, just me, good old fashioned exercise, and eating right. If you are just getting started with Spark People, and don't think you can do it...TRUST ME...IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT.

This week I embarked on the journey of being a single mom. I have been with the same man for 10 years, and our relationship was going nowhere. He moved out and now it is just the kids and I.

I look better, I feel better, and I am much more confident. I owe it all to Spark People. I am so happy, I just can't wait till I reach that goal of mine!!!

My Program:
I have evolved from walking every day to Jogging every day. I am eating a balanced diet of 1200 calories per day, and burning off 430 calories every day doing Cardio. My main goal is to have jogged/walked 1000 miles in 2010. As of today August 12, 2010 I am at 582 miles. I have a ways to go, but I am confident that I will get there.

Personal Information:
My family and I just moved to Redmond Oregon. I am excited to be starting our new life in our new home.

I had a line posted here about how much I hate myself, but it was brought to my attention that I put that line there, and it really isn't true any more. I am not focusing on what is wrong with me anymore. I have lost 45 pounds in 7 months, I am so proud of myself. I can do this, and I know it. I have given myself permission to not be perfect. Most importantly, I am learning to love myself again. Every day I am proving to myself that I deserve this.

Other Information:
Set your goals, and keep them in sight. When I started this mission I had a very bad attitude and a bleak outlook on things.

I feel better than I have in years. I can do this. I have spent the last 7 years of my life making excuses and accepting that I would be fat for the rest of my life.


I now have goals, and ambitions. I have purpose!

    i lost 1 lb this week 159.4 when last week i was 160. so im happy . would be nice to lose 2 lbs a week i got to work out today i did 50 mins on the treadmill and burned 515 calories over 3 miles i did. i know once my boys get back to school next week ill be able to work out more i miss doing my kick boxing videos but its hard with them around but i did get to work out with them here they were busy watching a movie lol. but have a nice day

    thanks yea i too love to use my crock pot spark has good recipes too its easy just throwing everything into a crock pot and time u get home from doing something its ready lol.. yea i was running too like 6 days out of the week and i wasn't losing anything so now I've noticed if i do it less 4 days out of the week plus kickboxing 2-3 days out of the week I'm back to losing. i weigh in tomorrow so wish me luck. i will admit though i have had a few pieces of my boys candy they did so good trick or treating they kept saying next house more candy. i posted a pic up of them for halloween if u wanna take a look. i love chicken too i make chicken thugs and bbq sauce and i make salads as well. not much of a steak eater... have a nice week my boys are off all week ones sleeping so gonna try and get a work out in. take care

    hi its okey. last week i gained 2 lbs i ate alot of junk last weekend so I've been watching what i eat and eating ever 2-3 hours. oatmeal egg whites in the morning I've been doing and snacks usually a yogurt or a apple. and lunch tuna with whole grain bread and dinner just a reg dinner but having no carbs with dinner anymore. Congrats son being single u will do just fine u are a whole new person.. I'm doing just fine yes i worked out every day last week but thursday and the weekend treadmill and kickboxing I've been doing about anywear from 600 to 700 calories a day and more jugging on the treadmill then walking and now trying to do 6.0 speed then 6.0. so everything is great i weigh in on tuesday. i was 158 last tuesday i weighed in at 160. I'm planning on getting some weights friday. thanks about me looking good. but u look amazing. i wish i was as thin as u but it all takes time. u go girl

    Also I've been getting in my 8 glasses of water a day and few weeks ago i wasn't even drinking any that was when i wasn't working out and lazy now i only allow myself 1 diet coke a day take care

    hi there how was ur weekends okey here but i ate so bad over the weekend i feel so fat. pizza, tacco bell then went to fridays and had a jack daniels burger plus fries i need to start eating better. i hate when i do that. well back on it today working out all this week and eating better starting today. what do u eat? i need some tips
