Update 3/3/14-It has been about just over 2yrs since I joined sparkpeople, in that time I have about 35lbs, and managed to keep most of it off. I have been bouncing between about 290 and 300 (mostly 290-295). I would guess the last time I was consistently below 300 was probably in 2006 so overall I am happy with my progress. In spring 2013 I started to eat a Plant Based Whole Foods Diet (Engine 2) but as the year went on I got a bit less committed. I am going to refocus and shoot for an 85% PBWF/10%Vegetarian/5% Eat it or the craving will derail you. I am hoping over time the 5% and 10% shrink.

Have been heavy most of my life, except for a thin period in the early 90's, want to lose some pounds but mostly get fit.
