Glad to be Back!!

I have been away from SparkPeople for a few years. So many changes have happened since I was last here. I am still a Type 2 diabetic and STILL have an extremely high stress job. I am managing the stress and have made many positive changes. I WILL meet my goals and look forward to meeting many new friends!!

Victoria,
You can do this.

Do read ARTHUR AGATSTON, M.D.'s book "THE SOUTH BEACH DIET" as he talks about Insulin Resistance and pre-diabetes and why with hormone imbalance it is difficult to lose the weight. I've gotten so much from reading his book. He is a Cardiologist and Professor at the U. of Miami Medical School. He didn't start out to write a "diet" book, but developed his program to help his patients.

I got it at the library and read it for free.
