Tired Of Being Tired So I am Taking Control

Yes, I am tired of being tired all the time. I am Tired of having no energy and being depressed about my health.

I am a diabetic and I am having a hard time keeping my sugar levels under control, which is the reason I am tired all the time.

My sister told me about Spark People, and was very successfull in getting to her goal and keeping her weight off.

I started to use spark people a while ago, then I stopped.

I am a new grandmother ...

I am a new grandmother and I want to be able to enjoy my grand daughter as she grows. I want to be able to keep up with her, run with her and just have fun like I used to when my children were small. So I am more determined now to take control of my life and work toward my goals of better health, better A1C numbers and of course weight loss.

I think you might find the diabetic tracker allows you to input more of your own foods. Once it is set up it goes a lot faster. Good luck with the challenge and hope you will be able to reduce meds once you get the hang of it. It really is worth it to you. Good job.
I must say I love your photos on the page. are they local or from the internet. Pat inMaine. emoticon

Hi there are you an insulin dependant diabetic. I thought you were a type 2 non insulin or rather I assumed that.
I just saw your other post about coach Nicoles videos. I know they show up in the cardio tracker so you can definitely put it in to your cardio. You just go to cardio and other exercises and they are in there. I did not answer there I am hoping Coach Tanya will answer that question so that way you know how to do it.
I am sorry I have had a problem getting e-mails from Spark so I am basically not well informed about the more technical stuff but I do know it is in there. I am hoping she will answer it meanwhile find it and track it. Best I can do for you. BUT please do not give up on this you can do it. Try going to the general discussion page and ask the question from there.Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon
