My Goals:
My goal is to maintain the small physique I have acquired since my baby was born in July.

It's easy to set an example as a personal trainer because it's my job. But I want to motivate and encourage others who have the same struggles I do every day.

My Program:
My workouts have consistently been the workouts that I lead at the park.

Mondays & Fridays - Strength Training

Wednesday - High Intensity Cardio

But the big changes came when I counted my calories. I highly recommend seeing a dietitian even just once to get a definite answer of how many calories YOU should take in. Then you should keep track of those calories by literally measuring EVERYTHING you eat and writing down EVERYTHING you eat. Even the spices you add to food make a difference.

I have a degree in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University.

I have been a personal trainer for 2 years now. I have worked at 24 Hour Fitness, at people's home, and now at the YMCA.

I have 2 national personal training certifications.

I also teach water aerobics and children's swim lessons.

Congrats on reaching your weight loss goal! I'm so happy for you.
I also wanted to thank you for all the helpful advice you have given me (especially with the correct form on the machines). I'm still new to most everything in the fitness realm so your help has been a huge boost for me. Now if only my body will follow my motivation I will be set!

Hi Vicki!
I just got your email. Thank you so much for stopping by and giving some good advice! I actually got down in Sept of 07 to 170 and was just starting to get some muscles from hikes in my neighborhood with wrist weights, and also taebo. Now I cant say I get them from strength training :( Im not to afraid of muscles, BUT Iam a fish out of water when it comes to gym. I LOVE cardio dvds and love working out in my house. I just dont know where, or what to start with at a gym. So if you can come up with a starting plan that would be awesome! i live in a complex that has its own gym ( limited to equipment but as all the basics ) My first goal is to get back to my 170 and then from there at 135/140.
