My goal is not feel selfish because I put myself first for a change. With an empty nest, it's time for me to focus on the emotional triggers that have lead me to be over weight. To focus on being healthy while losing weight with friends and having fun doing so.
Taking one day at a time, and to take challenges as small goals and not to allow the bigger goal seem unobtainable. Everything starts with small steps. Learn the triggers, stay focused on healthy eating, while educating myself on better ways to do it.
