Just re-read your "spark mail" of last April. Your message is still poignant and insightful...maybe that is why I haven't been able to click "delete". Everyday, one step at I time, I'm getting stronger and more able to cope with obstacles placed in my path. Support from persons like yourself help make that easier.
I know how people react when you tell them what you have weighed and what you now weigh. I am 5' 1" and most of my life I weighed between 95-100 lbs. If I tell anyone I now weigh 120 and need to lose at least 10 lbs. they don't understand. I did lose down to 100 in 2008 but gained about 20 lbs. back. I, too, have two rolls of flab around my middle. I'm trying to do more strength training. Do you have a Wii Fit Plus? That was good for me for strength because you can pick just the exercises you can do in strength. I am also trying to get back to doing balance on the wii because at almost 67 I need that. I love doing Walk it Out for Wii but that was about all I was doing because I loved it. But I am going to do less because SparkCoach said not to do the same exercises all the time.
