I had lost 20 pounds after joining Spark people but then I had some health issues and gained all that back PLUS 16 pounds. I hate the way I look and feel! I need to get back on track and start losing again. I am sick and tired of being overweight!

Today is my 2 week mark and I am down 10.2 pounds total. I have lost another inch from my hips and waist. That is a total of 3/12 inches from my waist and 2 inches from my hips.

Staying excited and still encouraged to keep this up. Can't wait until I can see the difference. I feel it. I just don't see it yet.

This weekend was more difficult to track my calories as I spent all day Sat & Sun at a benched dog show. It was very hard to follow my meal plan and all I could really do is order something from the food vendors. I just drank a lot of water and brought my snacks. I ordered a hotdog from the vendor on Saturday and a hotdog and a small nachos Sunday. I still got my exercise in too but I didn't think I was going to lose any weight.

Other then the 3 pound loss the 1st day I have been loosing about a 1/2 a pound a day. Saturday & Sunday I lost nearly a pound each day. From the 16th to the 26th I have lost 8.4 pounds. So on average over 1/2 a pound a day. I am feeling good and staying motivated.

I have been at it a week and with the exception of the 21st (when I spent the day in the hospital with my brother for his Angioplasty) I have exercised every day for at least 12 minutes since the 18th when I started excising. While I didn't do my exercise plan I did do 2 5 minute brisk walks so I did still get some exercise. I have also followed my meal plan to a T since I started it on the 16th.

I am very happy to report that I am down 6.2 pounds total. I was hoping for 10 pounds but didn't expect more then 5. I have also lost 1 inch off my hips, 2 1/2 inches of my waist and 1 inch off my thighs. Nothing off my neck or upper arms but my workouts are mostly working my lower body.

I will continue to keep plugging away at this until I reach my goals.

I am feeling better and better.

I started my nutrition tracking 1/16 and here it is 1/20 and I am already down 5.2 pounds. First day down 3 pounds, 2nd day down 3.8 pounds, 3rd day down 4.4 pounds and 4th day down 5.2 pounds. I can't believe how much more I am eating and still losing weight (faster then I thought too)!

I started my fitness tracking 1/18 and did 12 minutes of fat blaster 1/18 and 12 minutes of Fat Blaster plus 12 minutes of muscle toning 1/19. I woke up this morning to achy hips and inner thighs so I must be doing something right.

My New Years Resolution was to get serious about my weight and health. I have gained a lot of weight since I lost my job in July and I was already very over weight.

I don't know exactly how much I gained but my clothes were not fitting. My scale had a dead battery so I couldn't weigh myself.

I on January 1st started taking a daily vitamin and my Fat Burner pills that came with my Food Lovers Diet that I purchased months ago and never started using. I also started taking CQ10. I have been taking all of these with no other changes from the 1st through the 15th and have noticed my clothes are fitting a little better but have no idea how much I weighed because my scale wasn't working so I don't know how much I lost between the 1st & the 15th.

On the 16th, I remembered I could track my calories, carbs, fat & protein with Spark People like I did when I first started Spark People in March of 2009. When I used Spark People years ago I lost over 20 pounds in a very short time, so I tracked my food on the 16th and I replaced the battery in my scale so I weighed myself. I also took my measurements because I am serious about this. More so then ever.

I weighed myself on the 17th and was down exactly 3 pounds from the 16th to the 17th. Now I am getting excited about this. I decided to not just track my nutrition but to also follow the food lovers diet that has been sitting in the box it came in for months. So today the 18th, I started following the meal guidelines and I started the 12 minute fat blaster workout by Food Lovers and I am excited about the weight I hope to loose.

I know your not supposed to weigh yourself everyday but I weighed myself again today and I lost about another 1/2 a pound so from the 16th to the 18th I am down 3.6 pounds and I am even more motivated to keep going.

I even recruited my husband to help me with meal planning and portions so I could understand the Food Lovers diet system better. I have to admit I was a bit overwhelmed with it when I 1st received it months ago. It was to much to read and I had no motivation. I wasn't happy with a lot of things in my life so I didn't care. My husband read through the 1st part of the system which is the 21 day metabolism makeover and helped me put together my 1st day meal plan which is today's meals.

Basically with Food Lovers you have to have a protein, fast carb and slow carb with every meal but you also have to have the right portions of each. You also have to have a snack after breakfast, lunch & dinner to keep your body in fat burning mode and not in fat storing mode. I am eating way more food and staying full and losing weight. I love it!
