Hey congrats again on USC. When I visited there last it wasn't in the best area - I hope they have safe trails for you to run on. I don't really have any training advice. I do about 3-4 runs per week, short/long, short/longer...like 2miles then 9 miles, rest a day, 3 miles then 6 miles. Rest/x-train 2 days. Works for me, but then I'm not a top runner like you were!!! Congrats on the school thing - that sounds really interesting! I'm making it ok - it's supposed to be 100 today and the humidity is crazy, so it's surface of the sun hot from about 8 am on. It was still 91 at 9:30 last night! Makes it easy to get those 8 glasses of water in-you sweat that much!
Looking forward to my beach trip, oil spill and all. Nursing classes start back on the 11th of August, so I'm excited about getting back into the classroom and apprehensive about juggling school, work, home and family while not losing my Spark! Keep in touch!
