Post-Baby Living!

I had my first baby in March of 2008, and my second in February of 2010. Now it's time to take care of my body again! I am breastfeeding my son now, so healthy eating is SO important to me. I am also a "mostly" vegetarian, and a very motivated cook/baker.

He's a Marine. Which contradicts "taking a sick day" but he woke up vomitting Monday so they really couldn't ask him to drive into work (it's quite a commute in and of itself). We're also here on special orders for my medical stuff so they are extra lenient for him. But every 6 mos they weigh in and he was a few lbs above max since we just got back from vacation AND we've been without a kitchen for going on 3 weeks (renovations) so fast food isn't kind. Thus the fasting (not healthy at all but quick and effective for only 2 days).

As for the cream cheese we bought bagels and English muffins at the commissary yesterday so I can use it at home! 6 bagels for $1 at the commissary or 6 for $6 at Einsteins...not a hard decision! Plum many sammies in the future and I'm sure I'll find other stuff to use for it (too bad we have no oven...pumpkin cream cheese muffins sounds yummy!)
