Where has the time gone?

We're already August! How did that happen?!

There were so many changes in 2008 - new job, moved across the country, paid off all my bills, got to travel to lots of great places (and a few I don't care to revisit). I reaffirmed that I belong in the Pacific NW! I'm just not a midwest gal. I'm lucky to have found some great people here in Indiana though. Knitters are awesome everywhere! We're now almost 3/4 through 2010 and after almost two years of nearly constant travel for work, ...

There were so many changes in 2008 - new job, moved across the country, paid off all my bills, got to travel to lots of great places (and a few I don't care to revisit). I reaffirmed that I belong in the Pacific NW! I'm just not a midwest gal. I'm lucky to have found some great people here in Indiana though. Knitters are awesome everywhere! We're now almost 3/4 through 2010 and after almost two years of nearly constant travel for work, I've been in IN the majority of the past 6 months (and unfortunately not working a lot of that time). My future plans include another cross-country move, back to the PNW once I get my finances back to the state I like. I can't wait to move on to the next chapter in my life...

I don't really believe in diets in the sense most people think of them. A diet isn't just a short-term fix for a weight or health issue. A diet is a healthy eating plan I can stick with the rest of my life and that is my goal. I'm trying to be more forgiving of myself and allow myself little splurges here and there by working them into my daily calorie range. That, I can do long-term. =) I'm pretty much vegan these days (with a slip here and there) and trying to choose whole grains whenever possible. I'm also trying hard to limit the baked goods. heh My biggest weakness! I love to bake... and enjoy the results.

It's all about continuing to take steps in the right direction. =) Every step takes me closer to (or farther from) my goals. Gotta enjoy the process!

I grew up in Indiana, lived in Alaska for 14 years, spent almost 2 yrs in eastern WA and now mostly live in hotels (technically, I live in Indiana again). Now, the plan is to head back out west! =)

hey thanks, but im on atkins diet, and ur suppossed to have high fat on it.

im thinking im gonna go away from it even though itsh elped me lose 20 lbs since feb 1st... cause im worried about those lab results...


im gonna go twards all healthy fats though too.
