Shared Food Tracker
4/27/13: Yesterday was my 38th wedding anniversary to a wonderful man! God has truly blessed my life and graced him with patience to live with me.. LOL! My weight went back up to 140 from the 130 I achieved a year ago, good thing it isn't the 160 I started with when I came to SparkPeople! So, I'm back here to track all the food that goes into my mouth to be sure I'm doing things right. I did well for a long time, but old habits got me. My dr. let me use supplements and diet and 1/2 my statin drug for cholestoral, I use COQ10 to replace what the statin drains. I'm going to talk with my "shrink" about lowering the Cymbalta too and using supplements D3 and 5-HTP plus diet to compensate. I need to get off some of these darn drugs.
Well, we are the other side of the Holy Days and New Year. It's 2012! It was wonderful enjoying my families over Christmas and losts of friends for the New Year! How I managed to hold my weight was due to all the wise information right here on SparkPeople! Hooray!!
Hi All! 12/20/11: Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!
12/11/11: So much has happened in a month. Car almost died, but after much $$ it's healthy again. But bank account is poor. LOL! Daughter is making A's in college! And we all have a version of Hubby's cold. Currently I can't talk and today is the Connolly side Christmas Party. (smile) So, I'm going, but will enjoy the kids and conversation. sigh. I'm investigating my Thyroid, as I found I have several symptoms. I see an oncologist, about the pre-cancerous cells found in my left breast, end of Dec. to talk about preventative measures. Praise God for family and comfort! (smile!)
11/13/11: Wow! What a weekend! I went to a Christian Women's Conference at Attitash, Bartlett, NH, attended 3 awesome workshops and wonderous worship & praise sessions! The Lord spoke to me in prayer about a few issues in my life that tied together that I'll be working on in the months to come! Glory be to God! Amen.
11/7/11: Had the day surgery on left breast and got all the calcium stuff out, then went into Beverly Hospital for Outpatient Surgery last week to have a intraductal pappaloma removed. That is precancerous, so I have to see an oncologist to see what my choices are, there is a pill, but what else? I already take so many pills now! uggg. Praise God! I'm so very blessed to have found this so very early!
October 25: Dermatologist found a pre-cancerous "AK" on my forehead and froze it on the spot! Ouch! I see him again next year. Also have non-cancerous weird itchy brown/black things on my back (that's grandma!). Dad days Mom had them too. I see my arthritis Dr. to get a shot in each hip bursa in a little while. :)
Oct. 24: I got the results of my breast biopsy this morning and it is all good! I have to check in for day surgery on 11/2 to get a microscopic pappolovic something or another, but I'm not worried about that. No worries until they tell me there are problems.... God is good!
I suffered a lot last year with sciatic in my right leg. Had treatments with Pain Management even. Well, it's back again. Only not as bad.
My goal is to lose 50 lbs in 1 year so I can lose or lower meds, feel better, and lower blood sugar. Of course, I want to fit into "that" size!
getting my water; using my nutrition tracker; planning meals somewhat. Just found out I'm pre-diabetic, so I have to stop kidding myself about exercise. I have to make it my friend.
Born in Upstate NY, lived in Massachusetts most of my life. Married 36 years with two grown kids (still living at home!).
I love American History, and am an avid member of Ancestery.com. Ghost is my favorite movie. I love the Serenity Prayer and am a Bible Thumping Christian. Today's politics are a mess.

Hello, again. I left and now I'm back. Amazing that I didn't gain weight, just a few inches here and there (very minor). Time to get out of medium sizes and see those small sizes of yesteryear. I lost an inch in height, from 4'8" to 4'7". If you watch NCIS -LA, "Hattie", the little boss lady and I are the same height! :) Still have many of those many ailments, but God has been good to me in that I have a wonderful family, comfortable home, and reasonably comfortable most of the time. Little by little the Christmas decorations are coming down, getting washed and packed up. Time to get the (fake but pretty) Holly Balls off the Farmers Porch and store them in the basement until next year. I love how they hold up year to year. Determined to use the trackers to keep me on the straight and narrow. Dad will be 91 end of February. God Bless him. He's a wonder.

Thanks for the well wishes. Hope you have the happiest ever holidays.
I now have Chronic Hives and the docs and I are trying to figure out how to get rid of them. It's always something, isn't it?
Congrats on your weight loss (You're making me jealous).

Thank you for the well wishes, my little Peanut friend. So far I'm doing better on the new meds. I think I did have some bile stones in the common bile duct, but by the time the docs got around to scoping, they had worked their way out. Still a little miserable, but doing okay.
