This is 2018 Time for some new Goals, As I age, this year I turn 78, I'm still trying to keep my body healthy, moving and full of energy.

Basically, I do 3 days of Strength exercise and 2 days of Cardio a week. I have to walk at least 35 minutes a day on the treadmill.
I really hate to be labeled and old person but I am. I know I have some new wrinkles on my face since our last year, and now almost all grey hair, but I sure don't want to be slow in movement, like most people, at my age..

I know with time my body will slow down with aches and pains from other small problems, as I'm sure it will, but I'm not ready for that yet. I will keep it moving, and trying to be strong, as long as I can. When I do start that I guess I will just have to put up with that label that I get. I'm going to the Gym through my Health Insurance Co. Kaiser, using "Silver and Fit" They sent me a nice Base Ball Cap, last year an receiving a very nice "Silver and Fit Pin" now I've received four more pins for my cap. There are copies of them in my Photos Page.

Thanks to you all that send me encouraging messages. I wish you well and hope that you all reach your goals, that you have set for yourself this year.

Sparks always has some interesting suggestion and articles with different Helps and Aids. I love to follow their exercise plans that they offer. The exercise Videos are great to use. Checked them out if you haven't already. I have been taking some of the Spark Challenges, each one is a real challenge, They are really helpful.

If you are truly working the Sparks Program, I would love to have you as a friend and Love to hear how you are doing on reaching your goals. I hope you will send me a note.

I'm at 125 pounds on October 5, 2017 and am trying to Maintain around that weight for this new year..
My BMI is :
25.6 (1-15-12)
25.0-29.9 (is overweight)
Goal Weight:

128 to 130

Still maintaining the 139 since back in 2008 Wow it is 2017 now, Our Time Sure Goes Fast, and each rising of the Morning Sun is a Brand New Day.

its been 9 years now since I joined Spark People on Jan.20, 2008. The following is how I lost weight before I went to my 50 High School Reunion in Fort Worth Texas. I was exactly the same weight on 3/24/2008....

2/24/08 One Month wt. 135
3/24/08 Two Month wt. 134
4/25/08 3rd Month wt. 132
5/25/08 4th Month wt. 131
6/25/08 5th Month wt. 128

I would love to get down to 128 again.

(June 3, 2017) Perhaps I can, it only took me 5 months to do it, .

My Program:
I am Working on doing my strength training exercises three times a week, walking, Stationary Bike riding, Nordic Rider and Weight machine.
I go to the Gym in the Mornings on Mom.Wed. and Fri.
I Try to do the eating plan that I have in my program counting calories, with a balance of 5 Fruit, Veg. and Protein. Drink my Water 8 or 9 - 8 oz. a day.

Born Jan. 8th, 1940

I am a Texas girl, from deep in the heart of Texas, living in Calif.

We came to California in 1965, We now live just outside of Sacramento, Ca.
I've been married this year celebrating our 60 years. We had 5 daughters, youngest is 38 year old, with Down's syndrome she still lives at home with us. My oldest daughter, lives close-by, and my only grand daughter lived in Canada, and has moved here in April 2012. We love to see her more often. She will be getting married to a wonderful man that she loves in November 2017.Wedding plans are in the making.

In March 1977 we had a house fire and at that time 3 or my 4 daughters died, Bonnie, Tammy and Marilu. We are all Christians and we have faith, and plan to see our daughters again in Heaven, as well as all of our ancestors and those that have also trusted Christ as their savior.
