Like many people here, I've lost a lot of weight in my life, yet I've never been able to permanently keep it off. In May of 2008 my annual physical revealed how much damage I was doing to my health. I'm determined to live an active and full life, and so I'm building a healthy body to make the journey in.

Thank you for the post on my blog! I think that sounds like a good idea, and will certainly give me motivation to go to the gym. Congrats on all your success, that is wonderful!!

Daily moderate exercise certainly gets those numbers up for me! Throw in some high-intensity bouts there and I'm getting a well-rounded workout. Well, hopefully! I like to think I do. =)

    I hope you're having a great day!

So good to hear from you! And I see that I need to re-add you as a friend...some days when I am deleting, my computer and I are not in sync!

Can I let you in on a secret?? I REALLY want to do an ultramarathon some day. I'll be happy whittling my times down on marathons for the next few years, but I'm thinking an ultra would be a cool way to celebrate my 50th birthday, so I have 3 1/2 years to get ready for it!

Again, I was so happy to hear from you! Now off to read all that you have been up to!

Wow you have accomplished so much! Thanks for the positive message. I'm really excited and trying to get to my goal size before I leave. I can't wait to be back in Portland. It is my happy place.
