It's Time

Hi-I am looking forward to the journey of finally living well! This time I will truly be patient and kind with myself. This time I am going to deal with the emotions first- then the controlling of what I eat will be easier!

So now it's time to throw down the gauntlet and list a few rewards..........

When I reach a 20 pound loss- Massage-DONE 12/4/08 in Tallinn

When I reach a 30 pound loss- Hair cut and color at a swanky NYC salon.

When I reach a 30 pound loss- Hair cut and color at a swanky NYC salon.

When I reach a 35 pound loss- A day of beauty at the spa.
(I'll be past a big number and I want to celebrate!!!!)

When I reach a 40 pound loss-Massage (I love them!)

When I reach a 50 pound loss-Plan a trip to somewhere fun!

....I've been avoiding doing this for I think I was planning on failing, but no more! As I said before, this time is different! :-)

I'm back once again! My goals continue to be becoming healthy and lose some weight. To understand why I want to overeat. To not be afraid to wear a bathing suit at the beach this summer. To feel comfortable wearing a sleeveless top.

My Program:
I am walking, keeping a food diary, and reading the book Shrink Yourself.

Drinking lots of water!

I am a musician; I run my own studio and perform lots of musical theater. I am the Mother of a wonderful boy!

I'm so happy for you that you have released 26# to FAT HEAVEN, never to have them return again. I know you can release FIVE POUNDS, seven more times and get to that goal.

Thanks for your comments on my blog -- yes, we WILL meet our goals! I'm planning on being to my weight goal by June of 2009, but watching the scale move down ever-so-slowly is hard to take sometimes. At least we're moving in the right direction!

Thanks VV! "Shrink Yourself" is great - I'm trying to soak it up and get a mind change. I've been stuck on a weight plateau forever, but mentally my attitude has made MILES of progress this year.

Hope you have a great trip - it sounds like it'll be amazing, even if the itinerary has changed!
