Hello from Vancouver

Hi there,

My name is Sarah and I'm from Vancouver, BC. I have been married for one year now to my wonderful husband, Tim. I joined Spark People because I'd like to lose 26 lbs. I have lost 25 lbs already on my own, but I think the community environment and tools on this site will help to keep my motivation high.

I started running in January 2010, and I fell in love with it. I have completed a few 10k races, and my next goal is to train for and complete a 1/2 marathon. I also love hot yoga and dancing (I recently took up Bollywood dancing). In my spare time, I also like going to concerts and going to see stand-up comedy.

C'est difficile de trouve quelqu'une qui parle plusiurs langues. Moi, je suis Americane mais je parle Englais, Francais, Italien, Allemand et Polonais. Autrefois, au moyen age, j'etudiais Russe.

Il est difficile de trouver quelqu'un qui parle plusieurs langues. Moi, je parle français, italien, allemand et polonais. Au moyen-âge, j'étudiais le russe, mais après 47 ans de mariage à un Polonais, je me souviens très peu de russe et j'ai des difficultés à lire l'alphabet cyrillique.
