At goal and maintaining
April 2013 UPDATE: Its my one year spark anniversary! I am at goal (115 pounds) and have been maintaining for a month now. My weightloss was slow... 33 pounds in 11 months, but I now feel in control of my weight for the first time in my life. The good: Compliments, energy, shopping in the petite section again, stamina, health... The bad: An unusable wardrobe, tracking food everyday, rattling off calories like those crazy people I never wanted to be, a fear of gaining it ...
The bad: An unusable wardrobe, tracking food everyday, rattling off calories like those crazy people I never wanted to be, a fear of gaining it all back. The unfortunate: Weight loss changes nothing inside you. I'm still under-confident, I still find faults with myself, I'm still the lazy slob I always was... Maybe we need another 'sparkpeople' for dealing with the issues inside. __________________________________ January 2013 UPDATE: I'm now at 119 pounds... 29 pounds down from my high of April 2012. I don't know if I'll ever get to goal (and I don't even know where my goal weight of 115 pounds came from), but I feel good. I maintained through a 3 week vacation in Spain and India so I think I'll be fine after all. Now its on to maintenance and I'm aiming for a range of 118-122. ____________________________________ August 2012 UPDATE: I think my goals have changed. I have already achieved my goal of running an hour non-stop and I can do 10-12 push-ups on a good day. I weigh myself but I don't obsess about the number on the scale and I think I don't even like my old clothes. Now all I want to do is stay healthy and keep up my activity levels. ____________________________________ April 2012 I had a super eventful past 3-4 years (good and bad) and lost track of the weight that piled on. I need to lose at least 25 pounds to get back to where I was 3 years ago. Anything more will be a bonus. I'm just getting started, but this time I'm more determined than ever to do it right.

My Goals:
Lose 30 pounds. Run at least an hour (or 10K) without walking breaks. Do at least 20 military-style push-ups. Fit into all the wonderful clothes from 4 years ago.
My Program:
I run at least 3 days a week and average around 10-15 miles a week. I watch (and track) everything I put in my mouth, but don't mind going over my calorie limits on the weekends (which are usually my long run days).
