GET FIT OR DIE TRYING!

I'm here to get fit and lose weight. My life has had some major changes this year and every one of them has been positive, except that once I started focusing on how well everything else was going in my life I stopped caring about my weight. I'm at my highest weight of all time, and determined to lose it. I have always struggled with my weight, and always felt the need to be skinny so others would approve of me, like me, envy me, all of that garbage. This year my outlook on weight and food has ...
I'm here to get fit and lose weight. My life has had some major changes this year and every one of them has been positive, except that once I started focusing on how well everything else was going in my life I stopped caring about my weight. I'm at my highest weight of all time, and determined to lose it. I have always struggled with my weight, and always felt the need to be skinny so others would approve of me, like me, envy me, all of that garbage. This year my outlook on weight and food has changed completely, and I no longer fight the battle of wanting to be skinny, but I do want to LOVE MY BODY, which I don't at this point. My relationship with food has changed, and I love sitting down to a beautiful healthy meal, I love to cook and eat healthy foods, but I have realized over time that I also LOVE junk food and snacking. If I follow Sparkpeople's plan and lose 2 lbs a week I can have this 45 lbs shed by my 25th birthday, September 13, 2013, so that is my goal!

I moved to a new city in July, and since then I adopted a puppy and have been running and walking every day. I lost 10lbs when I moved here, and have gained back that 10 lbs, plus an extra 15. I am happy with all other aspects of my life, so this is the last piece of the puzzle. I have an extremely supportive boyfriend, and my office has just started a "GET FIT Challenge" to change our lifestyles and get healthy and fit. I have support all around so this should be easy, right? I need to push myself to take the first step, the rest should fall into place.

My goals are to complete the P90X program, register for 3 5k runs (already completed one 6k run/walk this year, already signed up for another 5k run), go to the gym 5 days a week and do 300 minutes of activity weekly, eat healthy with minimal snacking, LOSE THE WEIGHT, and be as healthy as I can be.

GET FIT WITH MY PIT! I just rescued a pitbull from Cali, so running and walking with him daily combined with a regular gym routine, bike riding to and from work, and healthy eating. NO MORE UNHEALTHY SNACKING!

I'm Vanessa, 24 years old, living in Alberta, Canada. I hare ridden the roller coaster of weight gain and loss for FAR too long. I am losing this weight for good. I have no intention of finding it again.
