Fitness Minutes: 23,593

My Goals:
* I want to be a time-traveler.
* Run my first 5K.
* I want to achieve a BMI of 24.
* Size 8 Jeans! Yeah! I can do this!
* Actually achieve the above in 2015!


My Program:
1. Tracking every morsel of food and drop of liquid that crosses my lips.

2. If I have a fat in one hand, I will have a measuring implement in the other hand.

3. I Log My Indulgences.

4. Cardio, 6 days/wk. Strength training, 5 days/wk. Trackers are reset to encourage focus.

5. Celebrate successes and failures.

6. Have moar seks! ;)

7. Reduce the instances of the verb "to be" in my speech and writing by 50% this year.

I work for a non-profit organization dedicated to green building strategies. I live in Seattle, WA.

I'm full of admiration for the Spark Community, and the grace and determination shown by all.

    hey girl!
    Thinking of you as I am about to make a "green smoothie". Hope you're enjoying all those fluffy healthy foods...all that produce you bought. Hey if you ever see "Pink Lady" apples, ya oughta try them if you like apples. Incredible!

    Also about the 2 pounds, that happens to me whenever I start revving up my exercise. I think its temporary inflammation of the muscles, they hold onto water. Also the bacteria in the gut can vary widely.... 2 pounds is only 4 cups of water... something to remember so you don't get discouraged or put off by your fitness routine.

    Anyways, I'm getting off the computer and into my day... Have a good one!

    Yay! I am going to try my best to get onto spark more often too, so hopefully we will see eachother more often emoticon

    5k? Thats awesome! I ran one 5k and all I can tell you is the most important thing is finishing the race, it doesnt matter how fast, or in what place you are, the best feeling in the world is passing that finish line and knowing you did it!

    I see you joined a c25k sparkteam! Definitely join spark teams that have members that can help you with tips on training. I honestly didnt really train for my 5k. I run in the park by my house, so when I was looking at 5k's to run, there was one that was being done at the park so I registered for that one.

    Just remember pacing yourself is key!

    I am really happy for you and I hope you register for an awesome 5k and enjoy it!
