March 2013: I AM VERY MOTIVATED to regain as much of my health as I can, and rid myself of the chronic, debilitating pain and fatigue of the last several years. Too young to feel so old, and having no desire to end up *too sick or crippled* to care for myself in years to come, I am (at age 47) finally taking responsibility for my health and holding myself accountable for my choices, as well as their consequences. And it is very empowering!

What is a glow-getter award? I bought the new Spart Activity Tracker that tracks steps and general movement and is waterproof. I wear it on my watch in the pool, and on my sneaker shoe lace otherwise. My daily goal is 6000 steps right now. If I reach that goal, the Spark Activity Tracker lights up in a ring of 12 glowing green dots. And you get a "Glow Getter" award daily if you meet your goal. I can't believe I put in so many steps during the day!! No wonder I'm so tired!!

Thanks for the prayers. My wife has been in the hospital for the past 10 days with a serious antibiotic-resistant internal infection. She is making progress, though, and I hope she can be released in the next 3 days or so. Thanks again!

You're very welcome! I was doing a 30 day challenge so I know what you mean about having a hard time keeping up with SP. I continue to use it as my primary food log. Working hard to figure out how many calories I need to eat to lose weight with my exercise program. Makes no sense sometimes. Glad to hear about your social life explosion! That is awesome! That always boosts self-confidence!
