It is so nice to meet a fellow agility enthusiast! I've tried a couple of times to get the Sparks agility group going but there just doesn't seem to be enough interest. So, I am glad that you bypassed the group and went directly to my page! I love your dogs! They are really beautiful. I especially love the name Mulligan. I have said for a long time that we should be able to have a mulligan in agility so we can have a redo like they do in golf. I guess there really is a Mulligan in agility though! Isn't it great to have some thing like agility as a hobby. It is some thing that you and your husband can do jointly. I am so lucky that even though I am the one who does the training and showing in our family, my husband comes with me and gets involved. We meet so many nice people through agility. I have struggled to stay on the Sparks wagon but seem to be doing better recently. I have taken some time off from trialing so that I could concentrate on myself as well as work on some problems that my younger dog is having. It seemed like I would just get on a roll with getting healthy and then go to a trial and get thrown off my new routine and go back to my old habits. Hopefully this little "vacation" will help me solidify the new routine. Good luck at your next trial and with Sparks! Keep in touch!
Here are the top-5 reasons I love this SparkPeople team: 1. Total strangers who cheer me on, many who become friends. 2. People who encourage and inspire. 3. People who share their strength when I don't have my own. 4. People who keep me trying and make me not want to give up. 5. We can never have too many of the above!
Other SparkPeople members have taught me: 1. Celebrate the little triumphs and focus on those. 2. Get up when you fall. 3. Share your success and help inspire others! 4. Share your struggles so others can inspire you. 5. It may go slow at times-- but as long as it's going, you’re doing something right.
