My Goals:
I will answer as I do them

What would I like to be different in the upcoming year?

Control my emotions more

What would it feel like to experience this difference?

When God takes something away from your grasp, He's not punishing you but merely emptying your hand for you to receive something better

What am I willing to do to make this change a reality?

What barriers do I anticipate and what strategies can I put into place to overcome these barriers?

What is the first step I need to take to get closer to my goals?

My Program:
walk as much as possible
eat healthy drinking lots of water

Sleep 8 hours

Knit as much as I can to keep my hands busy and away from food

Knitting is like sex, If I like you AND you appreciate it, then it's free. Otherwise you can't pay me enough.

Thank you for your kind words on my spark page (and blog, though I'll probably respond specifically to that later). Mostly I do alright... but I definitely have my bad moments and bouncing back into the 200's (I had briefly dropped down to 198) was disheartening, to say the least. I'm not giving up, but it does feel sometimes like I'm pretending somehow to be something that I'm not.

I have never joined the stash buster challenge because I am a very slow knitter--the projects I have on the needles (I have 4 technically, but one of them I'm stuck on) I have been working on for... a very long time. Two I have been working on for probably a couple of years; the third I think I started a little over a year ago. The one I'm stuck on is probably a good 5 years old (sweater with cables and I think I messed up the shoulder decreases but it's hard to tell what is going on--it could just be looking wonky because it's the mirror of the other side). I have multiple projects because I have an "I'm at home and can concentrate" project, an "It fits in my basket and can travel with me project" and the shawl because... well, it's the "I finally got the yarn to make it, dang it," project. LOL. So I find the idea of the stash buster challenge daunting, to say the least. Especially since I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to work on something already started.

Thank you for your encouragement and support on my BLC blog. I'm kind of struggling right now, so it is much appreciated.

And I can't believe I hadn't added you as a spark friend before this! Fixed now :)
