Eat. Move. Spark.

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I live in California with my husband and two kids.

I weighed 281 lbs when I joined SparkPeople in September 2012. My highest recorded weight was 291 in May 2011. I reached my goal weight of 140 lbs in February 2014.

Now I am adjusting to maintenance and trying to adapt my nutrition accordingly. Some days I am more successful than others.

I'll have to ask about the Phentermine. I stopped taking it a week or so ago because I knew there was a chance I could be pregnant. We actually started trying this month, so I've been keeping a more vigiliant eye than usual on my charting. That's why I don't need my cycle going astray, it's going to play havoc on the baby making endeavour.

emoticon Thanks for your words on my blog. I definitely enjoy having you around and wonder how you are when it's been a while. I get the idea that this seems to be a pretty common feeling in the human experience. It's so funny how we all need each other, but we hate to admit it. It's like we're all just waiting for each other to take the first step. I hope you have a wonderful Friday, and if you need me, you know where to find me! emoticon

Your comment reminded me of someting my mother would often sing (in German! Not in Dutch...). "Es geht alles vorüber" (everything shall pass).
I looked it up, found it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOdqeW2as7
o
Found out that the singer also sang the song for the movie that my mother was actually named after (Lilli Marleen).
