I just re-joined Spark after a long hiatus. My biggest problems are a sedentary job, boredom/emotional eating and portion control... and along with medications that had "weight gain" as a side effect I'm the heaviest I've ever been. I know I've only got myself to blame and now I'm hoping to be on the right track again. My hubby challenged me to our own Biggest Loser challenge. I intend to beat his pants off and keep it that way!

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to live a healthier life style, and hopefully lose weight in the process.

Here are my little goals that will get me there:

Daily = Drink 2 - 3 liters of water if not more. Eat at least 4 servings of fruit and veggies. Control the amounts I eat.

Weekly = exercise at least 4 times. Small rewards for achieving goals regularly.

Short Term = 170 by Nov. 10 (hubby''s b*day)

Short Term = 160 by New Years (achieved Feb. 9)

New Long Term = 150 by April 8 (my b-day)

My Program:
Exercising 4 days a week doing a combination of cardio and strength training.

4 days a week =Core training and stretching with cardio

3 days a week = Stregth training rotating muscle groups (arms & shoulders, chest & back, legs & glutes)

Born and raised in Sacramento, CA now living in Portland, OR.

Graduated fro Linfield College in 2004 with a BA in Creative Writing and Religious studies.

Married Sept. 2, 2006 to a fabulous man.

1 dog and 3 cats. Gardner, quilter, & crafter extraordinaire.
