The question is who am I? I am a white male, in my early 50's. I am overweight by many many pounds. I have let myself go for way too long and it has gotten me into the worst shape of my life. I have decided that this has gone on long enough and I am not going to stand for it anymore. I am going to make the needed changes in the way I do things, and how I treat my body from now on. The question is who am I? I am a white male, in my early 50's. I am overweight by many many pounds. I have let myself go for way too long and it has gotten me into the worst shape of my life. I have decided that this has gone on long enough and I am not going to stand for it anymore. I am going to make the needed changes in the way I do things, and how I treat my body from now on. I know that I am not very attractive to myself. This is one of the big things that i want to change (I am not a bad looking guy I am just way too fat). My kids are all grown up and moved on. It is time for me to get my life in order and start enjoying it. I know that diets don't work. I know that the changes that I make have to be permanent and no going back to the ways of the past. I am hoping that I can find a support system of people on this site to help me stay the course. I have not always been successful in turning away from fine dining and sweets, so inspiration, motivation and accountability are a few of the things that I hope you all can help me with. So, the question was Who am I? The answer is, Join me on this journey, and we will find out together.

My Goals:
To track all intake. To drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. To lose between 1 and 2 pounds a week. To increase my activity level at a good pace (as Dr allows). To make new friends. To be happy with who I am ( but make the needed changes in my life). My first weight goal is to lose 5% of my total weight = 21 pounds.
My Program:
1800-2200 calories a day. No soda. Cut down on processed foods ( get back to natural foods ). More green vegs, and more fruits. Cut down on sugars.

White male , early 50's , Missouri. wanting to make changes in my life.
Other Information:
Enjoy Sports, Travel, Fine Dining, going on fun outings.
