Living healthier

My number one goal in losing weight is to get healthy...specifically, lower my blood pressure.

I am eating a low sodium diet, counting calories and exercising.
I have made a promise to myself to log my food every day no matter what- the good AND the bad....well hopefully not too much of the bad! LOL.

I cut red meat way back and I believe that helped a lot with weight loss. Getting enough protein can be a problem some days if I don't plan well. I read some of the nutrition articles for ideas, which helped.

They use lotus root here a lot-salads, wraps, stir fries, chips (baked or fried).
