Thanks for commenting on my blog. Part of why I was maintaining was I was eating more and running more. I read an interesting article that says ultra runners actually tend to gain weight!
I did some further reading and discovered that you have to really diligent about your eating while training. They said to only eat extra on the days you expend the energy unless you are racing then you can load the few days before. The other thing was to pay special attention to your protein and good carb intake to make sure they are balanced and that you are getting enough protein for the amount of training you are doing.
