*Inspiration* Body scan of a 250lb and 120lb woman - I know which I'd rather be!

At the beginning of a long journey of positive change :~)
2nd July 2011: In October 2010, I joined here at 194lb and lost the first 10lb then wandered away for a while ... I've been such a slacker! Luckily only put on a few pounds, now 191lb .. aarrgh! Starting *again* today! I've decided to start from scratch, loosely following Slimming World's plan as that's worked for me in the past. I'm also going to break it down into small goals. I've worked out that if I lose around 2lb each week I can be my body's perfect weight (122lb as I'm pretty short!) by ...

GOAL BREAKDOWN with aim dates based on 2lb p/w loss: 3rd Jul 2011 13 st 9 = 191 Starting weight (Size 20 - 22) *DONE* 9th Jul 2011 13 st 7 lb = 189 (lost 2 lb) *************** YET TO BE ACHIEVED: 4th Aug 2011 13st = 182 (lost 9lb = 4.5 weeks) (Approx size 20) 28th Aug 2011 12 st 7 lb = 175 lb (lost 16 lb = 8 weeks) 22nd Sep 2011 12 st = 168 (lost 23 lb = 11.5 weeks) (Approx size 18) 16th Oct 2011 11 st 7 lb = 161 lb (lost 30 lb = 15 weeks) 10th Nov 2011 11 st = 154 (lost 37 lb = 18.5 weeks) (Approx size 16) 4th Dec 2011 10 st 7 lb = 147 lb (lost 44 lb = 22 weeks) *CHRISTMAS* 29th Dec 2011 10 st = 140 (lost 51 lb = 25.5 weeks) (Approx size 14) *BIRTHDAY* 22nd Jan 2012 9 st 7 lb = 133 lb (lost 58 lb = 29 weeks) 16th Feb 2012 9 st = 126 (lost 65 lb = 32.5 weeks) (Approx size 12) ***GOAL*** 1st Mar 2012 8 st 10 lb = 122 (lost 69 lb = 34.5 weeks) ==================================== ***About me*** My weight has fluctuated since I was 17. By 18, when I was 9 months pregnant with my eldest son I weighed 182lb (13st) and then lost the weight through healthy eating, walking miles and miles and generally being very poor! :~) From 19 - 25 I was happily settled at between 120lb - 130lb (8st 7lb - 9st 4lb). At 25 I met the love of my life :~)) I moved in with him and started slowly but surely putting on weight, partly due to stress, certainly by eating more and partly due to walking a lot less. I'm definitely a very foody person and love big portions of home-cooked loveliness. After I gave up smoking 6 years ago, food became more of a treat to replace cigarettes and meals were sometimes followed by treats of cheese and crackers in the evening or a bottle of wine after a long day (ahem ... most days if I'm honest!) Uh-oh ... ! Recently I've been feeling *fat* ... not just a little overweight but pretty horribly *fat*! Also, I discovered a photo of myself holding my youngest son the day after he was born 5 years ago and the first thing I thought was how much thinner I looked (around 168lb or 12 st)! I began dieting properly and dusted off the Wii Fit again a week or two ago and also, by coincidence I noticed a link on someone's blog to their SparkPeople page so I took a look and here I am :~) I feel so inspired by this site and all the people on it! What a brilliant place :~)

My Goals:
My main goals is to get to the right weight for my height which is around 8st 10lb (122lb). Aiming to lose 2lb per week. Also intending to exercise more and get fit!

I'm loosely following Slimming World, the basics of it. Also at the very beginning of exercising ... !
