I read your post about changing metabolism. I have been eating healthfully and exercising for 3 weeks now with no change at all. In the 2 weeks prior to that I was exercising, so I am feeling really discouraged at this point.
However, I think I might have a metabolism problem because last summer I was overseas in a very poor area. My diet was very restricted in variety and I was working a lot, missing meals, etc. I lost 25 lbs in 3 months and when I got home my hair started falling out because of the shock. I found that my stomach had shrunk so much I couldn't eat half a sandwich without being in pain.
So, all that to say - I feel you on this topic and the mystery surrounding it. Maybe we can help each other out by testing different methods and bouncing ideas off each other.
I am committed to losing weight but it's hard to hear about everyone else's lbs just falling off while we sit here and play the guessing game.
I really appreciated your response on the thread about gaining weight early on. Great info and this is something I am currently dealing with, and working with. I have changed up my exercise, continued with plenty of water, and will also try to cycle my days of increasing my caloric intake to top range, and back to lower. Thanks for your input.
